Falchion is a Finnish melodic heavy metal band which has got influences for example from Scandinavian death metal, viking metal, folk metal, neo-classical metal, progressive metal and nowadays even some thrash metal. In the beginning there were probably two notable Finnish metal albums whose created the idea of forming a melodic death metal band.
