En 1999 Lady Morte empezó a trabajar en un proyecto en solitario llamado “Trobar de Morte”. Un proyecto con voces y teclados, inspirado principalmente en la edad media. Después de algunos años, en el 2002 Lady Morte formó junto con dos compañeros más “Ordo Funebris”.

Un año mas tarde, en Septiembre del 2003 “Ordo Funebris” decidio tomar caminos distintos, así que Lady Morte decidió rescatar y recuperar así su proyecto inicial “Trobar de Morte”.

Los orígenes de la música de Narsilion remontan al año 1999, año en el que Sathorys Elenorth emprende un proyecto en solitario en el cual se fusionan elementos de la tradición medieval más fantástica junto con partes neoclásicas inspiradas en la tristeza, la soledad y la naturaleza como pilares principales…

No mucho más tarde, en el año 2000, Sathorys Elenorth graba su primera demo bajo el nombre Lacrima Profundere, demo a la que le siguen dos más, tituladas Ancient Medieval Times y Autumnal Caress…

Y es entonces cuando Lady Nott, que en aquellos tiempos militaba como violinista y cantante en las bandas Gotlethe y Nocturn pasa a formar parte de este proyecto, aportando todo su arte y dedicación a la banda que más tarde sería bautizada por ambos con el nombre de Aranmanoth.

Es en el año 2002 cuando Aranmanoth llega a su fin, pues sus integrantes forman una nueva banda junto a la cantante Lady Morte a la que más tarde llamarían Ordo Funebris. Tras editar una demo y dos discos, que son distribuidos a nivel internacional mediante la discográfica Drama Company, la banda decide que su camino ha llegado a su fin y acaba siendo disuelta.


Es tiempo de soñar en la tierra de las lágrimas de plata…

The Moon and the Nightspirit was formed in 2003 by Agnes and Mihaly. It is a mystical journey into the amaranthine realm of dreams and beauty, long-forgotten by modern man. A journey inspired by pagan fables, ancient Hungarian folk music and nature itself.

The band recorded a promotional EP in 2004, which earned them a deal with for the release of their first album, "Of Dreams Forgotten and Fables Untold", recorded and released on the following year. This album was very well received and made a name for The Moon and the Nightspirit in the musical scene. They played several festivals/concerts, both in Hungary and abroad, and even at a live TV show on one of Hungarian National television's programmes dedicated to folk/world music.

Recordings for their second album, "Regõ Rejtem", began around mid 2006, again at the band's own studio, Elysion. "Regõ rejtem" is a line from ancient Hungarian minstrel songs, which means "I conjure with magic", or, in words even closer to Shamanism, "révüléssel révülök" ("I am ecstatic in a trance"), a vision that suits perfectly the mood on the duo's songs. This time they have traveled further into times bygone, rekindling the flames of the Taltos (Hungarian shaman) and reawakening the spirits of the Elders. The music has acquired a more varied and colorful tone through the use of varied ethnic instrumentation (such as kaval, tapan, jew's harp or zither), and has also become significantly more energetic and vibrant, without sacrificing the unique ambiance that the band had found on their debut album.

When they formed in 1997, Finland's Cadacross had it in their minds to play aggressive death metal, but after a set of poorly received demos (1997's Power of the Night and 1998's The Bloody Way) they began swerving toward accessibility, adopting increasingly melodic power metal and folk music elements that were simultaneously becoming all the rage in their homeland. Thus transformed, Cadacross -- featuring screeching vocalist Georg Laakso, guitarist Tommi Saari, keyboardist Mathias Nygärd, bassist Jarkko Lemmetty, and drummer Janne Salo -- made their debut with 2001's So Pale Is the Light album, which was released by the independent Low Frequency label.

Cadacross' metamorphosis was not yet complete, however, and when vocalist Laakso informed his comrades that their next album would take them even further away from their violent death metal roots, everyone in the band either quit or was fired. Unperturbed, Laakso picked up a guitar and proceeded to surround himself with new members Sami Aarnio (vocals), Tino Ahola (guitar), Jukka-Pekka Miettinen (bass), Antti Ventola (keyboards), Nina Laakso (backing vocals), and Kimmo Miettinen (drums) prior to recording 2002's epic metal opus Corona Borealis.
